Lunch Break Photo Shoot #7: Junction City

This is a very interesting older shopping center with several different types of stores within. The majority of the exterior/walkway floor and ceilings have a rustic wood siding to them so I think the HDR shots came out great.

The water tower is not functional, however I believe it used to be a while ago. I tried doing a little digging on this with no avail. The feature attraction of the Junction City Shopping Center is now gone. There used to be a restaurant with an attached train car on the north west side of the property, which is now gone. Sad because that would have warranted some excellent shots…

I forgot from the last LBPS that my lens took quite a bit of mist from that fountain shot. I did not remember/realize this until post processing, but wasn’t too bad to clean up in the images. Might I say that the spot healing brush in Photoshop CS5 has really come a long way. I could spot heal along a line and it would come out perfect.
